Concept and Schematic Design
Our Initial meeting will be to establish goals and objectives, and to gather necessary information to complete the schematic design.
Based on this meeting we will prepare a project budget and gather the materials to illustrate the suggested concepts. We will also prepare necessary drawings of furniture, plans sketches, custom built-ins and millwork details needed to communicate our objective.
We will then meet with you for a schematic design presentation to review our selections and recommendations. Any client changes or requests will be made at this time and can be updated for a second design meeting.
Design Development
We will select which consultants if any will be necessary for your project. Such as architects, engineers, contractors, which might be needed to identify and work with existing conditions or constraints. We will turn our agreed upon ideas into working construction documents, written specifications, and drawings to use as a reference for consultants, trades people, and for continued use as design intent.
During Design Development we will finalize the selections for furniture, window treatments, lighting, finishes, and architectural details for client approval.
Construction Administration and Project Management
We are available throughout the project to answer questions, review shop drawings and specifications. We will make periodic visits to the project site to determine whether the contractors work is following the agreed upon design intent.
Purchasing and Installation
If required, we will organize the purchase and delivery of all or some of the furniture, accessories, window treatments, and lighting presented. We will prepare cost estimates and purchase orders for the above stated merchandise. We will coordinate delivery to a warehouse facility and supervised instillation to the project site.
Upon completion we will conduct a final walkthrough to address minor punch list ideas needed for client satisfaction.
